Letter from Our Founder

February 2, 2023

Hi Friends!

It’s been a wild couple of years for everyone, and I deeply appreciate your support and dedication throughout. And here comes yet another big evolution for The Kids’ Table…

We will be closing our brick-and-mortar Chicago location as of Saturday, April 8th. Fear not, The Kids’ Table will continue spreading the love of cooking and real food with a fully virtual model that allows us to work with schools, scout troops, libraries, and other organizations all over the country (and beyond!).

Personally, my feelings toward this decision are multifaceted - it is bittersweet! And a decision that I did not come to lightly. The feeling that is front and center for me is gratitude. It’s been 16 incredible years. An amazing journey that has enriched my life in ways I couldn’t have even imagined! I know that The Kids’ Table has touched the lives of so many young people and families. As well as the lives of the amazing folks who have been part of our team over the years.

So thank you! It’s truly been a privilege.

We will miss the fun-filled classes, party-packed weekends, sold-out camps, and multitudes of after school programs and field trips. And we know many of you will too!

Please join us as we celebrate The Kids’ Table over the next 10 weeks! Come to classes, book a party, check out our Spring Break mini camps, and don’t miss our final celebratory pizza parties. There’s still lots of delicious fun to be had. We hope you’ll come cook with us :)

Stay tuned in the coming weeks for lots of touchy feely memories and more info about our virtual world.
